Dr Wilbur Smith

Mr Wilbur Smith was born in Central Africa and educated at Michaelhouse School and Rhodes University, South Africa. He became a full time writer in 1964 and has since written nearly 30 novels, all researched on his numerous expeditions worldwide.

His books have been translated into 26 languages and he has an extensive knowledge and passion for wildlife.

Back to Africa, a not for profit organization runs soley on donations supplied by you. The operations alone require significant further financial investment. Some of these costs are particularly needed to meet the massive cost of transporting animals from zoo’s around the world Back to Africa.

The costs of our operations are usually once off, but in projects such as the Northern white rhino, continual investment is needed

Back to Africa is a Registered Non Profit Organization and falls under the Section 21 clause and is registered with Charity number of 99 18147:/08
