Donald Greig
is one of South Africa’s most famous wildlife sculptors. He has kindly supported Back to Africa by providing us with two unique bronze pieces, which we give to our gold and platinum sponsors.
His ability to portray Africa’s precious wild animals in bronze is remarkable considering that he only began sculpting later in his life. His first piece, a small silver elephant was made for his children in 1993.
He received no formal training for his new found interest, and in the years that followed, he experimented with the many different materials and carved out his own brand and style for sculpting. In 1997 Donald attended the Lorenzo de Medici School of art in Florence, Italy to further embellish his skills as a sculptor.
His valuable work is now world renowned. View Donalds site.
